Rome panel asks whether people-centred justice models can scale across West Africa.
Justice Research Institute announced a panel session at the PILnet Global Forum 2025, scheduled for 12 November 2025 in Rome, Italy. The session examines how people-centred justice models can reshape access to justice across West Africa, moving the discussion beyond national pilots toward regional application.
Speakers include representatives of the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, Justice Research Institute, PILnet and ProBono.Org. The Forum convenes pro bono practitioners, funders and civil society organisations from across the global legal community.
West African justice reform is under-represented in global pro bono policy debate; sub-regional framing gives smaller jurisdictions a seat those debates rarely offer.
