Student law association officers join capacity-building programme at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University.
The Katsina State leadership of the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) DOPPP participated in the two-day capacity-building training organised by Justice Research Institute in partnership with the UMYU Law Clinic.
The delegation comprised State Director Sen. Yusuf Salisu Muhammad, Deputy Director Fatima Bello Lawal, Secretary-General Fatima Danjuma Muhammad, Publicity Secretary Ahmad Hassan Muhammad, and Head of Media and Communication Abdurrahman Ibrahim Sabi’u. Their participation extends the training’s reach from clinic staff to the student leadership structures that shape clinical engagement across Katsina State institutions.
Training student association leadership alongside clinic staff embeds clinical practice in the culture of legal education rather than in a single institutional unit.
