Justice Research Institute, in partnership with the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) Law Clinic, convened the Justice & Clinical Excellence Workshop on 14 and 15 May 2026. The programme equipped clinicians with operational, administrative and practical legal competencies needed to scale clinical legal education and frontline service delivery.
Law clinics occupy the point where legal training meets community need, providing supervised representation to clients who would otherwise go unrepresented while producing better-prepared graduates. JRI invites policymakers, legal educators and justice sector partners to join the work of building Nigeria’s clinical legal ecosystem.
