1. JRI Database Project
Justice Research Institute is building a digital library comprising an electronic database of information on key institutions and all relevant information considered to be critical to the justice sector. The aim is to maintain an up to date information system on the administration of justice in Nigeria and make this information accessible to key institutions within the justice sector and the public.
2. Lagos State Justice Sector Strategy Development
Since it began operations in October 2005, JRI has worked with the Lagos State Government (LASG) in evaluating its 1999-2007 justice sector reform projects and designing the strategy for deepening the reforms and defining a vision for the future through a Justice Sector Validation meeting of stakeholders.
JRI also worked on a comprehensive Institutional Review of the Lagos State Magistrates’ Courts comprising an evaluation of the administrative structure, state of infrastructure and justice delivery performance of Magistrates’ Courts in Lagos State. This was Supported by the Security , Justice and Growth programme of the UK/DFID
3. JRI is partnering with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) in designing new strategic objectives for the Commission and sensitizing public office holders against corruption. Our work on economic and financial crimes has given us a remarkable insight into the operational systems of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and has enabled us to assist in fashioning an agency which would continue to respect and maintain the rule of law.

Staying Out of Trouble Seminars
The staying out of trouble seminars are regularly scheduled anti corruption sensitization lectures. The lectures were inspired by Mr. Brad Sadler of Pros & ExCons , an ex- south African bank manager who defrauded his banks of millions of dollars and now travels to speak about his experiences and the consequences of his actions .
The objective of the seminar series is to inform and sensitize individuals especially senior public officials and corporate organizations to the current local and international anti-corruption legislation and regulations and also to serve as a deterrent from engaging in corrupt practices.
